Childhood to Parenthood Obesity

In this article, doctors conducted an experiment on the rates of childhood obesity based on their parents. The doctors used statistics from the experiment as evidence to make the test more accurate. The experiment concludes, “The probability of being obese as a young adult increased with the age of the obese child and was higher at all ages for the group of very obese children.” (Whitaker, 1997). This article is directly related to healthy habits and genetic makeup in contribution to how a child grows up with the parent’s parenting.
